Functional, dynamic and comfortable
Sport is a broad term which represents all those activities which allow us to keep fit. For many people it is a point of reference, for some other it is a job, for others it offers the opportunity to discharge energies or a way to stay healthy . Over the last year, though, with the pandemic and the lockdown, the perception of this sector has changed. Indeed, during the quarantine period, free time has increased and so has the willingness to train by watching video tutorials or instagram live streaming events from all over the world.
Even the big names of sportswear have invited their followers to download various training apps. Squats, planks, abs, jumping jacks and so on have become popular but the thing which has driven most people to start training was the opportunity to go running outdoor.
In this difficult moment many people have found their relief in running. A survey carried out last summer, immediately after the lockdown, involving a consistent number of people living in big cities, revealed that 72% of interviewees considered running as a good support in facing difficult situations both physically and mentally.
This year, then, has pushed people to familiarize with running and has triggered a new passion, encouraging people to exploit their precious freedom in a more productive way.
Some apps have managed to put running lovers in contact. As a matter of fact, through such apps you can run a virtual marathon while keeping in contact with the other participants and, at the end of it, you can also see the ranking of all athletes’ performance.
Determination and a need to blow off steam are crucial to approach sport in the best possible way, but to improve performances and reach small targets, you need to wear the right clothes to be more dynamic, practical and comfortable.
